Working with award-winning children’s theatre company, PaddleBoat Theatre
I took on the role of co-director for PaddleBoat Theatre’s show ‘FRAMED!’, a brand new murder-mystery show for families. PaddleBoat are an award-winning children’s theatre company that focusses on co-creation with young people from many different backgrounds. FRAMED! was the culmination of work as part of the Agatha Christie International Festival, workshops with Surrey Libraries, and collaboration with Farnham Maltings.
The show follows Rufus Caper and his assistant, Aggie, as they try to track down their arch nemesis, Constance Shadows. An international criminal who’s crimes include rubber ducks, upside-down paintings, and at every crime scene, her calling card, cherries.
Rufus and Aggie are hot on the tail of Constance Shadows when Rufus finds himself accused of a murder he did not commit, and it is left up to Aggie and the audience to solve the crime and stop Rufus from being put away for good.
