This project was part of a project with the Heritage Lottery Fund, with the aim to explore the Northcott’s extensive archives and develop responses in the form of performances, community engagement and an educational resource. The area of the project that I was brought on to take a lead on was focussed around working with Children and Young People. This culminated in a series of filmed interviews conducted by young people, a performance piece made with a group of young people, and an educational resource aimed at supporting schools in delivering teaching on Verbatim Theatre techniques.

All of the elements of this project are currently being collated and created into the educational resource, and will be fully available to the public soon. In the meantime, please take a look at the trailer below for the performance that we created.
