Northcott Young Company
Our ethos is centred on the idea of working as an ensemble - everything we create is made in collaboration with the young people, and our experienced team of facilitators. Our classes help the young people to develop their creativity and performance skills; explore themes that speak to them; and devise new work to share with friends, family, and the public.

Young Creatives
Bridging the gap between our Young Company and ELEVATE, Young Creatives is a programme designed to challenge and develop the next generation of theatre makers. Across the academic year, we work with a group of 16-19 year olds to create a show, which is performed at the Barnfield Theatre in the Easter Holidays, before going on a tour in July.
-
Theatre Weeks
During school holidays, we run Theatre Weeks, where we work with a group of young people to develop skills and create a show to share with parents, friends, and family. Young people get the opportunity to work alongside our team of experienced facilitators to develop and hone their skills, all whilst making a fun and exciting new piece of theatre.

Work Experience
Our Work Experience Programme is designed for anyone age 14-16 taking part in school organised work placements. We have 10 young people join us for a week in July to take part in workshops, Q&As and practical tasks all to learn about the hidden careers in theatre.
-
Youth Advisory Board
We are working with a group of young people to launch a Youth Advisory Board. This group will meet regularly, set their own agenda, ask questions, and advise the organisation on how to improve and make a difference.

PIZZA WARS: Revenge of the Dips
Our Young Company and Young Creatives 2024 Summer Show. Each year we co-create a new show over the course of two weeks which is then performed for the public at the Barnfield Theatre. Each show is different, challenging, and exciting. See what we are up to by clicking the link below!
